Homeless Identification and Retention Training -Meridian

This training is designed to equip school district personnel with the knowledge, tools, and resources needed to effectively identify, support, and retain students and families experiencing homelessness in alignment with Mississippi Department of Education guidelines.

Key Components Include But Not Limited to

  4. Resources and Support Systems:
  5. Training for Ongoing Success:

By the end of the training, participants will have a deeper understanding of the unique challenges faced by homeless students and families and the strategies necessary to ensure that they receive the support and stability needed to succeed in their education. This approach will not only improve identification and retention rates but also enhance the overall experience and outcomes for homeless students in Mississippi schools.
