Orientation for Instruction Leaders (OSL) Strengthening Instruction Training

The Mississippi Department of Education’s Orientation for School Leaders (OSL) training is a three-module, six-day statewide series facilitated by Mississippi’s Regional Education Service Agencies. The MDE-approved OSL series is designed to develop early career administrators as instructionally-focused, team-oriented, and improvement-driven school leaders. 

The Strengthening Instruction OSL module provides proven tools for instructionally-focused leadership. Participants who complete this training will: 

• Understand the implementation of High-Quality Instructional Materials

• Engage in the essential components of a Multi-Tiered System of Support

• Improve all students’ access to learning through Inclusive Leadership
