AIM Pathways to Structured Literacy
AIM Pathways to Proficient Writing Cohort 3 - Jackson
AIM Pathways to Proficient Writing is for educators interested in learning effective instructional writing practices that will benefit all students.
Participants must have completed AIM Pathways to Proficient Reading or Pathways to Literacy Leadership before taking Pathways to Proficient Writing.
Commitment includes:
Completion of asynchronous pre-knowledge inventory
Completion of 10 asynchronous learning sections
Attendance and Participation at two, daylong in-person training sessions
Completion of pre and post-knowledge inventories

- To ensure training commitment and completion, if participants sign up and do not complete the course, the district is responsible for the reimbursement of those participants ($750 per participant).
You will be provided approximately an hour to have lunch with your training colleagues on your own. Information on convenient local eateries will be provided at the training.

| Miss. Const. Art. 4, Section 66 | Eligible attendees for this training includes teachers, counselors, and administrators who are employed by a school district or MDE. Unless specifically noted otherwise, external contractors or vendors may not attend. This event is being funded with state and/or federal funds and is being provided for employees of school districts, employees of the Mississippi Department of Education and Department contractors. Miss. Const. Art. 4, Section 66 prohibits governing authorities from making donations. According to the Mississippi Attorney General, once the federal funds are turned over to the state, the rules for the expenditure of state funds apply. Based on the Mississippi law, this event is not being provided for third party vendors or external providers. |
