This unique OSL Training Program is designed for entry and career level administrators of Mississippi schools. The goal of the training program is to prepare school leaders for practical, effective leadership, which positively impacts school improvement and, subsequently, student learning. The program employs a number of learning platforms interspersed over the programs lifetime and addresses a wide range of topics necessary to prepare school leaders to meet today's challenges and responsibilities.
The "Participant Training Journey" consists of 10 days face-to-face sessions, self-paced, online training, weekly interactive coaching and online networking with key nationally known experts. (On-site, face to face workshops may be scheduled as circumstances regarding COVID-19 allow*.)
Those who undertake and complete the 19-week training will not only earn 5 OSL's or 50 SEMI’s but also walk away truly having a solid grasp on the skills and tools necessary to be productive and effective school leaders.
This training is offered at cost of $800.00 to EMCED members and $1200.00 for non-members (*district not listed).
