Classroom Management, Always a Work in Progress
"I've tried everything there is to try with this child, and she still is causing problems in my classroom," is a statement often heard from teachers who have become frustrated with what promised to be the "perfect strategy." Effective classroom management is an ongoing process. In some cases, there is some "trial and error;" however, effective teachers are always learning about their students and making efforts to encourage successful learning which begins with successful management practices. What worked last year may not work this next year because you have a new group of students with some diverse needs that weren't evident in last year's classes. This workshop will allow you to assess what is going on in your classroom, provide encouragement for you as a teacher, and convey some fresh classroom management strategies. Come join us!
