PBIS Supports for Students with Severe Disabilities
This one day training provides participants the opportunity to learn how to create an engaging learning environment for students with significant cognitive disabilities in which all students can access information. Components discussed will include structuring the classroom, developing a daily schedule, implementing appropriate transitions, and creating a reinforcement and consequence schedule. Participants will also receive basic information on implementing Universal Design for Learning inside the learning environment.
Please bring a copy of your daily schedule and you reinforcement and consequence schedule (if you have one).
This session is a repeat of the September 2017 sessions.
Targeted Audience: Elementary and Secondary staff, Teachers/Administrators of students with severe disabilities
